Motivational Monday(MLK Edition)

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'~Martin Luther King Jr.

Happy Monday Ladies and Gents! As I've mentioned previously, this year I really wanted to make it a point to get back to not only posting more consistently, but creating purposeful content that's also relevant, fun and innovative.

After going through some old(er) blog posts and brainstorming ideas, I came across some of my old inspirational/motivational/positivity posts and immediately felt inspired. As some of you may already know, when I started this blog nearly ten years ago(*insert ten year challenge comment here*) posting motivational content that's positive and inspirational on my blog is something I've always loved to do and had such a big passion for.

I've always been a big believer in getting back the energy you put out into the universe, and so I've always made it a point to try and spread a little more love and positive energy as often as I can. With (all of that) being said, I'm so so so excited to bring back more positive and uplifting content to my blog on a regular basis. Considering that these days, there's an uncomfortable overflow of negativity being constantly circulated nearly everywhere we turn and look, I want to do my part and spread as much positivity/motivation/inspiration as I can.

And what better way to kick-off Motivational Mondays than with some motivation from none other than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.!

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, here are just a few of the MANY, many, motivational quotes said by Dr. King when he was alive. Today, my hope is that we all put our worries, fears, problems toward one another, and differences aside and reflect on how we can do better, be better and make our home here on earth better for ourselves, and the generations to come. No matter your color, creed or gender take some time to not just look at WHO Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was but his message  to us, in these quotes. I hope you all find some inspiration/motivation in these words and have an amazing and blessed week.

Take a look at just a few of some of my favorite/infamous quotes from Dr. King and/or leave a comment down below sharing your favorite quote from Martin Luther King Jr.
