Hi, beauties!!! I hope you all are having a positive and productive week! Today I am back (as promised) with my full review and thoughts on the Tom Ford Beauty Lipstick I got the opportunity to try out complimentary of Influenster.
When I first received this box, I was very excited! It's not every day you get to try out a designer brand's product(as I'm gonna be painfully honest, the hefty price point can sometimes be a deterrent), and so when I received my box I couldn't wait to pop it open.
Sufficed to say, at first glance, I was impressed. The black and gold packaging and design of the lipstick not only looked luxe, but the pretty pinky nude was calling my name! And so, after placing it on my vanity to admire its beauty(and to take a social media pic or few), it came time for me to test out this luxurious (and expensive) lipstick.
Below you will find my honest review/experience with using this gaw-jess lipstick.
Tom Ford Beauty Lipstick(Casablanca) Review
💄The packaging is FAB — luxe black and gold design and “TF” signature stamped into the top( the TF logo did rub off though after applying a few times 👎🏾)
💄Color & Performance- Casablanca is a pretty, romantic, pinkish nude. I like that the color is nice and opaque— one coat was enough. The color payoff is 👍🏾. It can be used alone or with other colors and formulas(stains, mattes, liquid, etc.) I used Casablanca by itself and while it applied beautifully, I used it again with another shade/formula and it blended really nicely as well.
💄 NOT transfer-proof at all—this is a CLASSIC lipstick (formula) so if you’re looking for something matte or something you apply in the morning and won’t have to touch up throughout the day— this AIN’T it!
💋Final Thoughts: This lipstick feels really good on the lips-it’s moisturizing & gives great color(and has a nice variety of shades). If you’re looking for a classic lipstick, this would be great for you. However, if you want something that’s a bit more low maintenance(don’t have to reapply or touch up throughout the day, etc.) I would pass.
