Latest Beauty Reviews: Too Faced, Maybelline, E.L.F, Sunday Riley + More!

One of my favorite components of being a beauty blogger and influencer is testing out the latest products on the market. With there being so many beauty and skincare brands out there, these days it can be hard to pinpoint what brand's products work really well for you.

As a blogger and influencer I love testing out the latest makeup and skincare products and giving my HONEST thoughts and opinions on things I'm trying and using. With there being an influx of paid sponsorships and ads flooding our timelines on social media, blogs and Youtube, finding an honest review can feel frustrating and nerve-racking, especially when you're trying to figure out what to spend your hard earned money on.
While I am a blogger and influencer and do get sent products sometimes, I am also a consumer just like you and I too go out and spend my own money on products to try and use as well.

I can totally understand consumers being leery of sponsored content as it can be confusing as to whether an influencer is being truthful on their thoughts of a product or are they just telling us what the brand "wants us to hear."
That's why as a beauty influencer, whether I am being sent a product to try or purchasing one myself, I make it my mission to always, always ALWAYS tell the truth and give my HONEST opinions on a product whether it's good critique or bad. When it comes to my integrity and being honest and real with my readers and followers I never want you to feel like I'm "selling you a dream" or that I'm just "doing it for the 'gram."

So while I do sometimes give reviews on products that were sent to me, I always make sure I fully disclose that and want you to know my opinions are 100% my own and honest and truthful.

With that being said, these past few months I have had the opportunity to try out some new makeup, beauty and skincare products from the drugstore and other brands and wanted to give you my thoughts on the products I've been trying out and what I think of them. Below are my reviews on products from brands like e.l.f., Maybellline, Sunday Riley, bareMinerals, Too Faced and more.

Leave a comment down below if you've tried out any of these products and how they worked for you  and if you have any products you want me try out and review.

e.l.f. Illuminating Eye Cream

e.l.f. Oil Primer Mist
Too Faced Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette

BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette
Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner

Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil
Maybelline New York Tattoo Studio Waterproof Brow Gel
bareMinerals MADE-2-FIT Fresh Faced Liquid Foundation

So, I’ve been trying out the #BareMinerals #Made2Fit foundation and I have to say ... I really like it. At first I was a bit hesitant with using an app to get my foundation shade especially because my skin’s undertones are all over the place but the match was actually spot on.
After you download the Made-2-Fit App the process is pretty simple.
As for the foundation itself I liked it a lot better than I thought. I have super oily skin and while I did get oily after a few hours it didn’t leave me a hot mess. The coverage I’d say is medium to full which personally I like.
The packaging and design was one of my favorite things about this foundation. The design of the bottle is really nice, sleek & elegant looking. I love that it comes customized with your name on it. The bottle is frosted and glass so if you’re accident prone you’ll wanna be careful. The pump is decent as well and doesn’t distribute too much product. For me personally one pump isn’t enough for my face so I usually wind up using about a pump and a half.
My only con is that there’s no way for you to tell what shade you are because it’s not printed at all on the bottle so if you wanna re up you’d have to do a re scan & go through the whole process again.
Other than that I’d TOTALLY recommend this foundation and I really liked it. It’s become one of my new favs.
