I've been doing so much makeup shopping lately and am finally getting around to playing with everything. Today I wanted to show you some quick swatches I did of some Ruby Kisses Lipsticks and some Nicka K Glosses I picked up.
Below are the swatches and a few specs as well as initial first impressions:
Ruby Kisses Matte Lipsticks
💄I only picked up four shades but there are a total of 24 shades altogether and they range from nudes to pinks to reds, purples and so on.
💄I picked up mine at my local 99 cent store and they were marked at $1.99 each and retail for $3-4.50 depending on where you go
💄 First impressions:
-decent pigmentation(if you want a more vivid look you have to layer it on)
-dries to a semi matte finish; not as matte as the colourpop liquid lipsticks if you want a reference
-affordable and great range of colors
-easy to remove( I used a makeup wipe for removal and they came off pretty easy)
Nicka K Lipshine Lipglosses:
💄Also picked these up at my local 99 cent store
💄Paid $1.99 each; picked up three glosses but they also have a large variety of colors and finishes ranging from metallics to high shine. The ones I got were apart of the Satin Collection
💄First Impressions:
-very pigmented for a "gloss"
-not too shiny
-can get streaky
- has a fruity scent to it
-dries to a a satin finish
-applies nicely to the lips
