March Essence Beauty Box Unboxing

Hello my gorgeous Glam Divas! For today’s post I wanted to show you all what I got this month in my Essence Beauty Box. This month’s theme was “Because Every Girl Deserves To Transform Her Every Day,” and featured 5 deluxe and full sized hair, makeup and skin care products. So without further ado, let’s jump right in!

Bite Beauty Opal Lip Gloss
When I first saw that there was a  Bite Beauty lip product in the box I was beyond excited. I had heard so many amazing things about Bite Beauty’s lip products and how AMAZING the formula on their lipsticks were that I was super excited and interested to test out their stuff. While I think this deluxe sized gloss was the perfect way to do so, I was a little disappointed in the color selection of the gloss for the box because it does have an iridescent, pearlized finish and it is ultimately a white/clear gloss. I personally tend to stay away from anything iridescent/pearlized because I don’t really like how it looks on me (again that's just personal preference ), but nonetheless I will definitely try and give this gloss a shot!

Creme of Nature Perfect Edges
This hair gel is actually nothing new for me, because I actually owned it already (but I was reaching the bottom of the jar so I’m happy I got a refill). This gel is also the only product in this month’s box that is full sized, which I thought was great as well. Because I had already owned this product and have had plenty of experience with using it, I can tell you that this edge control/holding gel is definitely one of the better ones. Not only does it smell amazing, but it is infused with argan oil and it definitely keeps my hair, shiny and holds my hair down and keeps it in tact. So I would definitely recommend this product.

Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic  Curl Stimulator
Unfortunately because I don’t have natural or curly hair this product is going to have to be another giveaway which, I would have to say is my only con I’d have about Essence’s beauty boxes.* However in regards to this curl stimulator, it is said to help tame frizz, add moisture and elongate the curls simultaneously while adding shine and definition.

*(It would be nice if we were able to specify whether we have natural hair, wear it relaxed or in protective styles, and if we are more interested in hair, skin, nails or makeup to make the boxes more customizable. There have definitely been months where I was a bit disappointed because I either a) couldn't use half the stuff I got or b) I wasn't really interested in what I got (For example: I’m more into makeup than hair, so the months where I got all hair products and like one or two makeup samples were disappointing). While I see that Essence definitely is trying to mix it up and be versatile I think if they made it more personalized it would really be amazing.)

Biossance The Revitalizer
I’ve been really into skincare lately so I was very excited to get this serum in my box this month. I had heard such great things about this moisturizer and all the wonderful things it does for your skin and how nourishing and hydrating it is. I was also happy to see that it claims to work well on ALL skin types and that it is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, and paraben-free.

La Belle Femme Body Butter
There was definitely a time a couple of years ago where I was absolutely OBSESSED with body butters. Because I tend to have more dry skin, body butter not only left my skin butterfly smooth and soft, the thick consistency was incredibly moisturizing. While I tend to use body butters during the colder months (when my skin is the driest), this light weight, body butter  by La Belle Femme feels light enough to wear in the cooler months. According to the description this body butter is made up of  a blend of vegan butters, organic oils and essential oils which are all great things for the skin. This body butter is also infused with a variety of fruit and spice notes so I am really excited to use this product also!

So there you have it glammies. That was everything I got in my box this month. I am definitely excited to try out the Bissoance moisturizer and the body butter and I am interested to see how Bite Beauty’s lip gloss holds up. Overall, I’d say this month’s box was okay for me personally. But let me know down below what you are excited to try and until next time, I will see you on social media!
