Recently I caught author and feminist Eve Ensler on television promoting a new book for teen girls.
In researching the book I stumbled upon her most popular work- The Vagina Monologues.
I decided to check it out and got a copy of it digitally through my school library.
Being as how March is Women's History Month, I strongly recommend this book for ALL WOMEN.
It was a great read, quick and very funny.
The book promotes female empowerment, sexuality and is conjunction with V-DAY, the movement to help stop violence against women.
So ladies, go out and get this book. It will surely make you think twice about your vagina, your sexuality and your self esteem.
P.S. It just so happens that my school is putting on a production of the Vagina Monologues this weekend, maybe I'll check it out!
